We also highlight happenings on and off the farm as they come to hand. 2009 Autumn Racing Autumn ....What a great time of year for the thoroughbred industry. The best horses competing in the best races and the best yearlings in the country on parade leading into the 2009 Easter sale. Tomorrow Kitchwins paddock graduates again compete with the best of the best.Magic Millions winner Phelan Ready takes on Real Saga , Reward For Effort etc etc in the Todman Stakes at Rosehill. Gallant Tess is amongst the favourites for the Group 1 Coolmore Classic; with Les Bridge scratching his mighty mare Hot Danish maybe we will see this graduate of them there hills collect the $400k winner’s cheque. Definitive after being scratched last week uses Race 2 at Caulfield over 2000m as a lead up race for the AJC Derby of which he is second favourite. Kitchwin is excited about presenting to the market what is without doubt its best Easter Draft to date ( wait till you see next years ! ). Some of the comments from inspections over the last weeks have been extremely complimentary and for the next two weeks we share with you a taste of what is on offer. Kitchwin is getting great results on the track and with the quality like this on offer expect this to continue. Racing to the future we would be surprised if this bunch didn’t throw up a number of serious prize money earners. His recent starts indicate that a win is close at hand. Gr.2, A$300000 1200m Phelan Ready (AUS) 2006 (G. by More Than Ready-Nancy Eleanor)-Bred by Carl Holt. $150,000 Magic Millions Yearling – came back as a 2YO to win the Magic Million Classic – a top class 2YO who showed that he’s ready for this when trialing well behind More Joyous. Good luck Carl 4:10pm Race 7 Coolmore Classic Gr.1, A$600000 1500m Gallant Tess (AUS) 2003 (F. by Galileo-Dragoncello)-Bred by the Reid family. Passed in for $60,000 at the Inglis Easter Sale as a yearling – a top class mare in her final campaign, it would be great to add a Group 1 to her honour roll Sunday March 22 12:25pm Race 1 Sensational Sunday Maiden P., A$20000 1300m Sir Wally (AUS) 2004 (G. by Filante-Aleta)-A homebred for Kim Harding. Let’s hope he can break through 4:04pm Race 7 Keith F Nolan Classic L, A$150000 1600m Love and Kisses (AUS) 2005 (F. by Encosta de Lago-Fair Embrace)-a granddaughter of Kitchwin’s blue-chip producer Janelle Again. Has form against stronger opposition. Should be right in this. 4:43pm Race 8 Bert Lillye Memorial H., A$80000 1300m Utzon (AUS) 2000 (G. by Nothin Leica Dane-Ivory Rose)-Kim Harding’s grand campaigner – always competitive in whatever he runs against. Good luck Kim Sneak Preview of some of Kitchwin’s Easter Draft  Mascara Magic-Stratum This stratum filly from a young mare that is doing a terrific job sees this outstanding filly head to Easter with a bright future. Already the producer of Definitive (Gr3 placed) and the up and coming juvenile Shadow Assassin.
 November Song-Tale of the Cat One of the star fillies of the Kitchwin draft, November Song already the producer of November Flight, winner of last year’s Millie Fox stakes (Gr3). An outstanding individual, a must see for all.
 Slight Chance-Galileo This colt from the super star mare in Slight Chance winner of six Groups 1’s and the producer of Salgado (Gr3 winner) and the emerging sire in Dane Shadow
 Wiener-Redoute’s Choice Redoute’s Choice filly from the fast More Than Ready mare Wiener who is a half-sister to Snitzel (Oakleigh Plate Gr1) Viennese (Jansz Stakes Gr3) makes this attractive filly a three quarter sister in blood to Snitzel.
