Race The Shadow, the Dane Shadow out of the Royal Academy mare Ta Ta trialed yesterday at Warwick Farm. His trainer, Mark DeMontfort is full of praise and is happy with the way he handled the whole affair. The colt started off slowly and rattled home to win the 815m trial by 1.5 lengths. Mark informs us that the horse walked back following the trial as though nothing much had happened, and proceeded to eat up last night, which just goes to confirm Marks opinion that he is a very level headed, tough individual. Mark will give him one more trial or possibly a race start, either way following that, the paddock will be his next stop.
