First starting 2yr “Phelan Ready” (More Than ReadyxNancy Eleanor) ran a bottler of a race on Saturday pleasing all connections in running 3rd in the Meynink Stakes at Eagle Farm. The colt got back a little too far early in running, but worked home very well running 3rd in the Listed event beaten a length from “Double Heart”. Carl Holt, long term client and friend, bred the colt and was very happy to see him receive Black Type, from his very first start. We have a lovely General Nediym filly for the Classic sale out on “Nancy Eleanor” and it would seem there is plenty to look forward to with “Phelan Ready”.
