Timeform rates Dane Shadow as no 1 in Australasia - TWO Classic Examples of why!

This weekend Dane Shadow has two live chances as the Queensland Carnival warms up.

Exciting two year old Turnitup is following an impressive first up return in town last start where he ran third. He is being set for the cream of the Queensland Racing Carnival"s two year old races. Take a look at his pedigree and you will wonder how.  Mum has had 9 foals with limited success and by now you would be thinking mum is never going to be saying "That"s my boy".  Enter Dane Shadow.  Watch Turnitup closely, he wants a mile but will give this a shake on his way to the big ones.

Shadow Buster is a very similar example.  Mum comes from humble beginnings, placed at 800m (somewhere).  She once produced a horse that won 3 but he was by Danehill Dancer (stands at $80,000 service fee).  Anyway mum is back, she has a good chance via her son Shadow Buster in the Group 3 Gunsynd Classic over 1600m.

Timeform ratings, focusing on a stallion"s ability to up-grade his mares is a very strong indicator to where a stallion is headed.

Not a Single Breeding Decision should be made in 2010 without an inspection?

Peter Moody - "Whilst I only had the horse for a short while he showed me quickly that he was a genuine Group 1 sprinter. He is a magnificent looking animal and if anyone has a mare not producing the type we all chase - send them to Duporth!"

He is a Group 1 winner over 1200m with rock star looks and a proven outcross already with Danehill line mares. Kitchwin Hills is having its first Stallion Parade Day on Saturday 15th May. It"s the day after the Scone Cup when many will be in need of some Kitchwin "medicine".  If you are breeding a single mare this year you must come see Duporth (and Dane Shadow) and enjoy what promises to be a fun afternoon.
