Team up with KWH Kitchwin do a number of stallion bookings on behalf of our clients. If you think you are getting a good price, consider what might be acheived by pooling your nominations with us. If you are interested in doing this, please call Mick on 02 6545 8065 as soon as possible. Bring on Brisbane!
Less a tongue tie, Shellscrape was back to his gutsy best last week in the Group 1 Galaxy (we hope you backed him at the 25-1). After being on the speed from the outside gate and then 5 wide around the turn (after getting a smack via a wayward Victorian), he flew home to be closely beaten by the very impressive Testa Rossa filly, Ortensia. Both horses go to Queensland for the BTC Cup over 1200m and one would hope after 3 unlucky Group 1 placings, Shellscrape will get what he deserves. Snapy Halo also heads north with the Group 1 Doomben Cup his target in 5 weeks time. Beaten 2.7 lengths in what has been regarded as the best Doncaster in many a year all signs are positive. Often these imports improve second campaign so all the owners are a touch excited about his Spring. Farm Conditions Update
There was no rainfall recorded this week. Weekend Acceptances FROM THE PADDOCK RUNNERS Saturday April 24 Australia 2.15pm Race 4 Champagne S. She has won $266,000 now and is multiple stakes placed. The way she returned last start may suggest that a group win is not far away. Second up form, check it out? Good luck to her owner Neil Werrett. 4.15pm Race 7 Daily Telegraph All Aged S.
