Snappy Halo arrives in town!
A group of Kitchwin clients have teamed up to acquire Snappy Halo (Snapy Halo [ARG]). Snappy is a Group 1 winning son of Southern Halo (sire of More Than Ready) who hails from Argentina. He is one of three Group 1 winners from his dam Esnaola who herself was a Group 3 winner. Of Esnaola"s 9 foals, 6 of them have black type so it is a prolific, producing family. Snappy will launch himself into Australian racing via the Sydney Autumn Carnival where it is hoped he can add to his already impressive record of 9 starts for 4 wins and a 2nd. A mile appears his best distance and if he can run anywhere near the times he has run in Argentina he should be very competitive in Sydney. Magic Millions Highlights Curtail/Dane Shadow - This good looking colt is out of a half-sister to the quality Hong Kong stakeswinner, Fibber. This is also the family of the Victorian highflyer, Autumn Splendour. Gift Bouquet/Lonhro - A good walking son of the champ Lonhro, this colt has certainly not fallen far from the tree. His dam is a blue chip producer having left two stakeswinners to date from only 6 to the track. He should be in massive demand. Mediator/Stravinsky - This is a pedigree that churns out black type, recent examples include Whisper Bay, News Alert and Hurtle Myrtle. By international sire success Stravinsky, this colt has the genetic strength, presence and type to be an instant hit at the sales. It"s Magic Millions time again! As is a tradition now, Kitchwin Hills will have their hospitality tent at the sales, so please join us for refreshments and feel free to use the tent as a base to drop off bags, jackets, etc or as a place to have a rest and be left in peace to study the catalogue. We look forward to seeing you. Player Profile
